Paul Herman Motorcars burned me on the purchase of this car through the Internet. He advertised this car: "THIS XJR IS THE BEST OF THE BEST AND DEFINITELY WILL NOT DISAPPOINT!!! THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAS CLEARLY SPARED NO TIME OR EXPENSE IN THE UPKEEP OF THIS JAG AND NOW YOU WILL BE THE BENEFACTOR!! Here is a good look at the garbage these LIARS sell. Scroll down to see some pictures of this car. They will not do anything for me or give me my money back. I have to see them in the New York Superior Court as they have now stalled me with legal maneuverings for nearly 4 years. The car they sold me as the most "pristine Jaguar" was so bad that a tire dealer would not even put new tires on it. I have never transferred the title into my name and have demanded my money back for nearly 4 years. I have filed a complaint filed with the New York Attorney General. Paul Herman Motors has refused to cooperate. You can expect the same treatment when you deal with them. They have done this before with Internet cars. They know it is difficult to get satisfaction when you purchase a car long distance. Every trick in the book was on this car and every legal trick has been employed against me. This is how they treat their Internet or out of state customers when there is a problem. . . |

| On may 5, 2005 I purchased a Jaguar XJR from Paul Herman Motorcars in Buffalo, NY via the Internet. This website will document the extent of deceptive and false advertising that was presented to me. To date, there is no settlement. There has been years of legal maneuvering by Paul Herman to avoid giving me my money back. Paul Herman represented this car as being "pristine" among other things. He delivered me a rusted out, bondo'ed up, unsafe, badly repaired piece of junk. He represented this car as "One of the most beautiful and unbelievable XJR's on the planet". |
| As soon as the car arrived there were problems. I wrote Paul Herman about them. The car was delivered in Tampa, FL and drove it less than 50 miles to Sarasota with a great deal of trouble. I didn't even drive it home. I drove it immediately to the Goodyear dealership thinking that it just needed tires. I paid for and ordered new tires. When the new tires came in, the car was still at the dealership. The dealership called me when they went to put on the tires. They said "You have to come down and look at this". I went there and they told me that the car was so bad, they couldn't put tires on it. Everything was so rusted underneath, that no alignment was possible as all the undercarriage was completely rusted away. They then pointed out the extensive collision damage that had been repaired with a fast substandard fiberglass (bondo) repair. |
| Subsequently, I contacted Paul Herman Motorcars and told him the car was seriously misrepresented. His answer to me was, "you don't seem to understand you purchased a used car" . I signed proof of delivery and nothing else. The delivery receipt included notices of damage that was preexisting on the car from the pick up. |
| I have retained attorneys and have had two national auto inspection companies thoroughly document the automobile as well as having notarized and dated photographs taken at time of delivery. Both certified inspection companies declared the car unsafe and compromised by extensive rust. The entire undercarriage is completely rusted beyond repair. |

THE MAJORITY OF MOUNTING BOLTS ARE CORRODED TO THE POINT A SOCKET WILL NO LONGER FIT ON THE BOLT HEADS. THE FRONT SUB FRAME CROSS MEMBERS ARE CORRODED TO THE EXTENT THEIR STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY IS SEVERELY COMPROMISED. |

Tie rods and ends.. right side. Not even possible to align the car without completely replacing ALL the steering. That is a bolt head on the top of this piece, rusted to a point where no conventional tools can service it.

This car arrived with very poor quality bodywork. This bodywork was done with Bondo (fiberglass fillers). They did such a poor job that it is evident to the untrained eye. There is no way that any car that was inspected and supposed to be "the best of the best" could accommodate this. There is not car salesman in the world that deals with high dollar cars that would miss seeing this.

Here is the tires that were stretched onto the rim. Next to it is the tire I purchased that is the correct size for the car. The Goodyear dealership would not mount the tires because the car could not be aligned. There is so much rust on this car that no dealer will take the liability of putting the car on the road. The new tires were over 1,300 dollars.
The tires the car had were suicide. Yet they were advertised as "Nearly New"
